This expression of The Project is
church in the Christian tradition that's anything but
traditional.
We're a simple, informal community
that meets every Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m. for church. You'll
notice several obvious differences from traditional church right
away: First, we're a small group, not an overwhelming mass of
people. (Expect a dozen people, more or less.) Second, we meet at a
home, not in a traditional church building. Third, we're
casual in the way we dress and the way we have church.
Our message is what really makes us
different, though. We don't all share the same beliefs, but we all
believe it's possible for people of various types and viewpoints to
be a family - a community of people who love and support each other,
even if we don't always agree.
During our hour together, we sing a
mix of traditional Christian hymns and contemporary songs. We spend
some time praying, and The Project founder David Boger or another
speaker offers a 15 to 20 minute message that you might find useful
or interesting.
After church, we stay for dinner.
It's always provided for free.
To better understand us, come on by.
