The Project invites you to join us
for unlimited spiritual discussion focusing on books with meaning to
us.
After reading together Book One,
Book Two and most of Book Three of the Conversations with God
book series by Neale Donald Walsch, our group is taking a break from
Walsch's writings for awhile.
We're working our way through A
New Earth by Eckhart Tolle.
Walsch's writings still inform the
group, however. He subtitled his first three books
"an uncommon dialogue." In the early 1990s, Walsch found himself
confronting some tough questions about his crumbling life. In
desperation, he wrote down his questions for God. Soon, he found
himself formulating the answers.
The central message of all of
Walsch's writings can be summed up in four sentences:
1. We are all one.
2. There's enough.
3. There's nothing we have to do.
4. Ours is not a better way, ours is merely another way.
We believe that
living these four sentences can change the world. They are the focus
of our Exploring Spirituality Group -- and we hope they're the focus
of our lives, too. Tolle's writings, we believe, fit right in.
Our group is not a book club. We
gather every other Wednesday night to share time with each other and
to read, study and discuss passages from spiritual books that have
meaning to us. We do not request
that you read anything in preparation for each meeting.
Discussions are facilitated by The
Project founder David Boger, The Project administrator Gip Plaster and others.
There is no charge to participate.
It's completely free, and we do not accept donations at these
meetings.
